From the Desk of Principal Wigent
Dear CHS Patriots:
What a year it’s been! Haven’t we all seen the faithfulness of God here at CHS this year? So many answers to prayer and plenty of great encouraging moments in our community.
Now, as the school year ends, we are sending off some wonderfully gifted seniors into the world to lead their generation. It’s a real joy to experience this as a principal, and I’ll miss their presence around the campus.
Congratulations Seniors!

Enroll Now for 2026-27
If you haven’t started the re-enrollment process with the admissions office, now would be a great time to get that done.
Would you prayerfully consider inviting a family to enroll their child at CHS? You never know what a simple invite could mean for the future of a family.
Cheers to our Graduating Seniors
We hope you’ll come out and support our graduating seniors and their families, Thursday, May 14th, at 6:00pm at Pleasant Retreat Methodist Church right next door to us.

We had a blast in D.C.
Thank you to everyone who supported our Jr/Sr Trip to DC this year. Your financial help and prayer support made this year’s trip truly memorable..

A verse to end the school year.

5th Grade Texas History Trip

What a great trip!
It’s always a great experience taking students out of the classroom to grow in their understanding of history. Not only are we watching them grow smarter, trips like this also build their character. Thank you to all the teachers and parents who make trips like this extremely successful.

Pray for our Korea Trip!
June 2nd – 14th

Sometimes relationships come in the most unexpected ways. We are very grateful for the connection we have with the Dreamy School in Korea. This trip is an opportunity for us to invest the Principle Approach® method of education abroad.
Would you pray for this team as they travel to Korea and Cambodia to explore how to equip teachers and leaders in other nations.
Team: Rachel Wigent, Nina and Terri Howlett, Connie Todd, Richard Melina, Estefania and Kenneth Lord Jr.
Prayer Notes:
🙏Pray for student enrollment. CHS has open enrollment throughout the year, but right now we want to get the word out for registering for classes Fall of ’26!
🙏Pray for guidance. In the midst of some very specific prayers answered, we are not done. We need the Holy Spirit to shine light on our path as we navigate this next school year.
