Elementary School

Our teachers fortify the love of God and learning being nurtured in the home. The curriculum for Kindergarten (known as the Reading class) through 5th includes:

  • Core subjects: Math, Science, and Reading/Spelling
  • Classic Literature from Laura Ingalls Wilder to C.S. Lewis
  • Intro to Bible topics, characters, and memory verses
  • Music classes and Oration (public speaking for all grades)
  • Cursive Handwriting (begins in 3rd grade)

The love of Christ is fully on display at Christian Heritage School, and our son is thriving here.
The class sizes are smaller than most other schools, encouraging relationships between students, teachers, and families to grow easily and intentionally. We love the prayer and discipleship of the Legacy Teams (chapel groups), the Family Serve Days, and other fun campus events that foster fellowship and engagement. The curriculum at CHS is rigorous, with many fantastic enrichment activities that enhance learning and point to the Lord and His design in all creation.
