Chapel
On Wednesday mornings, the entire CHS student body gathers for prayer, worship, Bible study, and group discussions. Students also hear from guest speakers and enjoy listening to fellow students present orations and highlights from lessons learned in the classroom. During each school year, students are divided into “legacy teams,” with older students helping to lead the younger ones.
Legacy can be defined as the long-lasting impact of specific events and actions from the past. Having received from previous generations the precious legacy of liberty and the Word of God, CHS students gather to inspire each other in faith and service and to testify of God’s power presently at work in their lives.
“Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together…but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.” (Hebrews 10:24-25)
