Listen to the Past
To the prophet Jeremiah, God spoke, “Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it and find rest for your souls.” (Jeremiah 6:16)
At Christian Heritage School, we study history to trace God’s providential hand working through the lives of individuals and nations to advance His plan of redemption for mankind. We especially focus on those whose contributions advanced personal and civil liberty, recounting their heroic stories to inspire faith in our students to believe in the Lord’s powerful intervention in our time. While we are grateful for past generations’ sacrifices, we understand our obligation to preserve and pass on a legacy of faith to the generations to come.
“Lord, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, Lord. Repeat them in our day, in our time, make them known.” (Habakkuk 3:2)
Learn in the Present
At CHS, achieving academic excellence requires students to read, write, study, and repeat! Through their industry, students develop a passion for learning that lasts a lifetime. Guided by the principles of the Bible, they learn to reason, draw conclusions, form opinions, and communicate their ideas effectively and persuasively. Lessons are designed to foster faith, nurture creativity, and cultivate scholarship. Students grow to understand that the lasting fruit of their learning and the true measure of their success are lives of integrity lived under the Lordship of Christ.
“Make your ear attentive to wisdom; Incline your heart to understanding.” (Proverbs 2:2)
Lead to the Future
Christian Heritage students are leading now with steadfast character, bold convictions, and a vibrant faith. The Biblical histories of Daniel, Esther, and Joseph show young people courageously leading during times of national crisis, owing to their trust in the living God and their knowledge of His Word. Personal faith translated into national and international influence. CHS students are in training to do the same.
The dedicated teachers at CHS teachers work tirelessly to help students develop their unique gifts while guiding them to view every aspect of life—every decision, relationship, and engagement—through the lens of Scripture so students can discover and fulfill God’s call on their lives.
“… the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.” (Daniel 11:32)
