What CHS Parents are Saying
“All four of our children attended Christian Heritage School. Through the excellent Biblically based Principle Approach at Christian Heritage School, our children have maintained excellence in their ability to think, reason, and problem solve! Our oldest son Nicholas has served our Country as Green Beret Army Special Forces Medic. Recently a top publishing company has featured Nicholas in a book, including an account of him saving the life of a fellow servicewoman. Presently, Nick is teaching local law enforcement in Tyler and Lindale Texas in how to prepare for potential crisis situations. Our son Nathan went on to attend Wheaton College, followed by attending Cornell University, and now is a Neurologist. “
“Our family was blessed by our experience at Christian Heritage School. If you’re looking for an “elite” private school education with a perfect faculty/staff then don’t come to Christian Heritage. If you are looking for a Christ-centered, Biblical worldview education and want to partner with the faculty/staff to educate your child(ren) then CHS is exactly where you should be. Both of our sons graduated from CHS. The spiritual and academic foundations laid in their lives from this incredible school has assisted them to excel as Christian young men. Although academics are important, the main reason we were drawn to and remained at CHS through their academic careers is that they make every effort to abide by their philosophy “Christ first, Self-Worth, Academics”. It is a blessing to have a faculty/staff that continue to care about and pray for our sons.“
“When we moved to Texas, our son was frustrated when we enrolled him at CHS instead of the local public high school. The public school had lots of cool equipment and opportunities. Now years later, having graduated at the top of his class in the College of Engineering at the University of Arkansas, and having earned a place in a coveted graduate engineering program at UC Berkeley, he is grateful for his education at CHS.”
We love CHS’s teaching approach and curriculum. Our daughter is thriving, not only academically but spiritually. The love and wisdom poured into her by her missionary teachers have allowed her to grow closer to God.
We appreciate all the school leadership does to keep the students safe. The school is constantly reviewing and implementing new safety procedures and equipment.
We thank everyone at CHS for walking alongside us as parents, helping us raise our daughter by God’s truth, and encouraging her to know God and have a relationship with Him. We will be forever grateful for what CHS has done in our child’s life.
Christian Heritage School is much more than a school to our family; it’s our home away from home! My daughters began attending CHS after I became concerned about the influence their public school had on them. Now, hearing them come home singing praise songs and telling me what they learned in Bible class, as well as seeing the great friends and quality teachers they have, I can’t imagine sending them anywhere else! I also genuinely appreciate the school’s mission-minded focus on God’s heart for the nations and the diverse international staff and student body.
Education of children is one of the most challenging topics parents face in our society today. As parents, we have had great peace and assurance, knowing that the heart and vision of Christian Heritage School align with that of our home.
We know the faculty of CHS genuinely loves our children. Teachers do their best to disciple students in God’s Word and educate them using various innovative methods rooted in conservative Christian theology.
At CHS, the class sizes are small, the tuition is beyond competitive, the faculty hails from many nations, and your child will be cared for deeply.
My children will tell you they feel safe and confident to be themselves at CHS and fully express how God made them. Their teachers cultivate a love for learning with the beautiful balance of challenging academics and joyful celebration of each child’s individuality, uniqueness, and learning style.
The school’s familial and international culture touches both students and parents alike. We feel a bond in our partnership with CHS in the education and discipleship of our children. We are grateful for how the teachers shepherd our children’s hearts in every aspect of their education.
The love of Christ is fully on display at Christian Heritage School, and our son is thriving here.
The class sizes are smaller than most other schools, encouraging relationships between students, teachers, and families to grow easily and intentionally. We love the prayer and discipleship of the Legacy Teams (chapel groups), the Family Serve Days, and other fun campus events that foster fellowship and engagement. The curriculum at CHS is rigorous, with many fantastic enrichment activities that enhance learning and point to the Lord and His design in all creation.
I have never volunteered in a school where I have witnessed such a tremendous connection between academics, love, and discipleship. The school’s culture is an amazing Christ-centered environment where it’s safe for children to learn and grow.
